Therapy Services
Below you will find a brief overview of the different services I offer. In general, therapy sessions range from 50-55 minutes one time per week unless we arrange a different schedule. The amount of time that therapy will last is highly variable and depends on many factors; with that said I typically see changes and improvement initially within the first 8 sessions. I provide tele-health therapy services for clients through HIPAA compliant platforms.
15-Minute Consultation

A 15- minute consultation will allow us to briefly get to know each other. It gives you an opportunity to tell me a little about what has led you to consider therapy at this time and gives me a chance to explain a little more about how I work and the therapy process.
15-minute consultations are free of charge and designed to give a short introduction to therapy work before making a financial commitment.
Individual Adult Services

Individual adult sessions are designed for individuals over the age of 18 years old. I specialize in navigating postpartum and pregnancy-related struggles, parenting support, life transitions, trauma, anxiety, and depression.
Individual adult sessions average 50-55 minutes once per week. When attendance is consistent we typically see improvements within the first 8 sessions and stabilization in 3-6 months depending on a variety of factors including but not limited to attendance, physical health, and environmental factors.
Couples Services

Couples sessions are provided to partners in various stages of relationship including dating, engagement, marriage, divorce, co-parenting and anything in between. Couples work may focus on communication, addressing unhelpful dynamics and patterns of connecting, and navigating life changes. While couples typically begin therapy with specific goals in mind, it is important to remember that there are no guarantees in therapy, we will discuss realistic goals and possible outcomes at the beginning of our work together.
Couples sessions average 50-55 minutes once per week. In order to provide high quality and consistent support it is expected that all members of the couple be present for all sessions unless previously agreed upon and determined to be clinically appropriate. When attendance is consistent we typically see improvements resulting either in a decrease in session frequency or in the end of our work together within 2-4 months, depending on a variety of factors.
Individual Adolescent Services

Individual adolescent services are provided to those ranging from 12-17 years old. Adolescent services often focus on developing assertive communication and developing a strong sense of self-worth and interdependence.
Individual adolescent sessions average 50-55 minutes once per week. The length of time spent in services varies depending on a variety of factors including personal buy-in, caregiver and family support, personal and familial openness to change, and other societal and cultural factors.
Minors 12 years of age and older may consent to their own psychotherapy in some circumstances without the consent of a legal guardian (Colorado- HB 19-1120; California- Health and Safety Code Section 124260). Please contact me if you believe this applies to you so that we can discuss this further.
Family Services

Family sessions are provided to members of a family and can include primary caregivers, siblings, and extended family members depending on presenting concerns. Family session work is directed by presenting concerns and collaboratively established goals agreed upon by family members attending sessions.
Family sessions average 50-55 minutes once per week. In order to provide high quality and consistent support it is expected that all members of the "family" be present for all sessions unless previously agreed upon and determined to be clinically appropriate. The length of services for family work varies greatly depending on what brings a family in, we can discuss more specifically what can be expected during a consultation call.

And then the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful that the risk it took to blossom.
